A lifetime hunter - Todd learned the safe handling of a rifle and a shotgun at the age of fifteen.  Through his brother in-law and a local friend he developed an interest in pistols and was introduced to competitive shooting in 2004 - International Defensive Pistol Association.  (I.D.P.A.)  Todd Martin shoots in the ESP (Enhanced Service Pistol) and SSP (Standard Service Pistol) divisions as a Marksman.

He has been teaching proper handgun safety and marksmanship for 7 years and has had his NC Concealed Carry Handgun Permit for over 5 years.  Todd Martin has been a CCH Safety Officer since 2005 and is now licensed by the State of North Carolina to teach the Concealed Carry Handgun Course.  Todd Martin is also an instructor for the National Rifle Association teaching their Basic Pistol Course.

His teaching style is a very personal - with a one to one experience.  Questions and comments are encouraged from classroom to range time. As you should expect firearm safety is his number one priority.
