It's Simple...

Unload Safely, Good Hits on Targets at 3,5,7 Yards
Follow Firearm Safety Rules, Control The Handgun...
Class will begin at 8:00AM "Sharp" (Please arrive
10-15 minutes early) with a safety brief and complete a class roster. We will then spend approx 4 hours in class.
We head to the range and eat lunch at a local restaurant. We will then complete the range qualifier. (Minimum of 30 Rounds,
50 Rounds Maximum) We will return to the classroom for at least 5 additional hours of instruction. Class will
end at Approx. 6:15 - 7:30 PM getting all State Requirements (And More) taken care of in One Day. I will provide cheese
pizza and soft drinks for dinner if class runs long.
Comprehensive instruction on the laws governing
the use of deadly physical force, the concealed carry statute and relevant issues related to carrying a concealed handgun.
The course also covers the handgun nomenclature, ammunition, safety issues (safety is your key to success), shooting fundamentals and where you may and may not carry a concealed handgun.
You will be required to demonstrate
the capability to handle a pistol safely as well as hit a silhouette target 21 of 30 rounds. The qualifier
is 10 rounds from 3,5 & 7 yards. Be prepared to shoot up to 50 rounds. I may require
more than just the minimum from you...
Three documents will be required. (1) a test on gun safety / related issues
(2) a test on the law (3) a legal waiver must be read and signed before I take you to the range to qualify

Training Objectives: Concealed Carry Handgun Permit NC
1)
Demonstrate proficiency in safe handling of the handgun to include loading, unloading, storing / securing, and firing the
handgun
2) Identify the places that handguns may Not be carried even if the individual has a Concealed
Carry Handgun permit.
3) Identify the major parts of the revolver and semiautomatic pistol.
4) Demonstrate proficiency in marksmanship fundamentals.
5) Explain the
provisions under North Carolina Common Law in which the use of deadly physical force would be justifiable.

As you should expect Todd's focus is on firearm safety and his teaching
style is personal. Receiving a Concealed Carry Weapons Permit (CCW) comes with a tremendous
responsibility. We will cover the issues surrounding these responsibilities during class as well as our time
at the range. Safe experienced and inexperienced shooters are welcome. All will learn a great deal during
our time together.
